Will this work with my car?

It only works if your vehicle has factory-wired CarPlay or Android Auto. It won’t enable wireless on systems that are already wireless or lack wired support.

How can I check if my car supports wired CarPlay/Android Auto?

Three methods:

Won't fit a MK3 Octavia.

The product itself works as described. It feels well made and functions well. The problem is where it attaches to my car. On a skoda Octavia mk 3 there is a small overhang above where the USB connects. Unfortunately this stops the device from plugging in so ive had to use the included USB C adapter and then plug that into an adapter that does USB C back to USB A. I've ordered another adapter which is female A to Male A so I'm only using one adapter. If you have a Skoda Octavia go for one of the other designs as this one won't fit. It would be good if this info had been included in the product description, hence the 4 stars.

Wireless Apple Carplay

Adapter linked up very quickly, however now it’s installed, there is a lag when first getting in the vehicle. It does sort itself out, but you have to wait for that.
Also, not 100% sure that it shuts off completely when left plugged in in the vehicle. Indicator light stays on for a while, but eventually goes out.
