Will this work for my car?

Compatible with BMW vehicles manufactured 2018-2023 with MGU headunits. Available for all regions around the world, including those cars that don’t have ConnectedDrive or an ATM module.

Important notes

iD7 only: Android Auto will only function if your BMW has SA 6U3 (BMW Live Cockpit Professional) and Service Pack 18.
For both AC & AA: must have WiFi antenna port on the headunit.

Remote activation requirements

For BMW vehicles with MGU iDrive or iDrive 8 infotainment, you need the following equipment for us to carry out the activation remotely:

Windows 10/11 laptop.
An ENET cable.

Upon purchase, we will send you a pre-setup guide to help you prepare for the remote activation session. Once everything is setup, we will remotely carry out the activation. No technical knowledge required.

Next steps

If you have a compatible BMW, send us a message on WhatsApp (bottom right) with your car details. We will confirm compatibility with you and book you in for a session.

Delivery and refunds

After you order we contact you to book a remote session, usually within one working day. We carry out the activation while you are with the car.

It is a one-time lifetime activation on your head unit, so it cannot be undone, reused or transferred once performed.

Not sure your car qualifies? Message us on WhatsApp before ordering – it is free and takes a few minutes.

By ordering you expressly request that we begin the service straight away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it has been fully performed, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you change your mind before your session takes place, contact us and we will refund you.

This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: the service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and if it is not we will put it right or refund you.
